This was so good. It's never taken me longer to make a sandwich, but it was worth it. However, it is not something I could make too often. Only when I have extra time.

I failed terribly. How do you get it to brown? Mine had no bubbles. Any advice?

I'm sorry I'm late to respond. I didn't see this before. I'm not sure what I did exactly. I tried to be extra delicate with the dough during the last rise. I probably baked my bread higher in the oven and also try not to have too much excess flour on the top of the dough when it bakes. I hope that helps. It's been several months since I made this. It may be time to try it out again.
