This meal is absolutely delicious. I took a few things from the recipe though. Instead of water I used vegetable broth for extra flavor. Also, I use quinoa, instead of rice. I didn't have a pesto and mortar to make the jalapeno paste , so I just finally chopped up the jalapeno, and garlic. I added a second red pepper, and I didn't use the sugar, but agave nectar, instead. Outside of that, everything else is pretty much the recipe. This recipe is a must try.
