Overall I thought this beef and noodle recipe was very good. However when it came time to add the noodles there wasn’t enough liquid to cook the noodles properly. So I added more beef broth. Probably should have added even more - maybe another 1-1/2 cups. Didn’t need to thicken the liquid because there was so little. I used beef stew meat instead of Chuck roast thinking that would be easier. Maybe that generated less liquid. But everything turned out very good.

Made it again. The lack of liquid when ready to add pasta occurred again. Also the pasta ended up mushy. So next time, I will prepare the pasta separately in boiling water like several others have recommended.
