My husband loved this.  I cut the recipe in half since it was just the two of us.  I wish I hadn't because it was so delicious and we had no leftovers.  Instead of shallots I used red onion.  I didn't have fresh ginger so I used ginger paste.  I could not find the pepper use so I just threw in some pepper flakes for a little heat.  It was yummy.  I will definitely be making this again.
