I used skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs, and the recipe worked perfectly. Chicken was a tad spicy since I used Hot Paprika, and Spicy Turmeric since I was out of the other two spices. However, I did omit the cayenne pepper since the other two spices were hot enough already. The chicken was flavorful, and the skin perfectly crisped up without using the baking soda hack.
