First “no” for a Sally’s recipe from me. The texture of the cake was too dense, even for pound cake. It was closer to a steamed cake, almost doughy, but not overly moist. Also, I don’t think the cake itself had a lot of lemon flavor. I suspect the texture will seem more appropriate if the cake is chilled.
