I've been too nervous to try making these for a long time, thinking it would be too finicky and too hard, but honestly, it was fun. I had my 6 and 9 year Olds help me, kept the ingredients and dough super cold (and in the freezer between dips) and it went really well. The dough puffed up satisfactorily in the oil and the panko gave the great crunch. I think what the kids loved the most was the cheese pull... 🧀 It's also the unusual blend of savory and sweet that hits just right. The crowd gave it the double thumbs up. This is a great one for a combined kitchen effort or for a relaxed event.
