My version of this dish
So I see a few of these reviews mentioning that the dish is bland and constructively I can see how they came to that conclusion while making the dish but here are a few ways I've altered the dish to make it better imp
The original recipe wasn't bland because of the ingredients, it was really over powered by the garlic and herb cheese so it comes off as underwhelming and overpowered by the garlic.
So if you decide to make the dish I would suggest using half the block and add more as needed.
I decided to us the base of the dish to make a cheese, herb and garlic tomato soup so I added an some cherry tomatoes, half a bell pepper just a bit of Spinach and Celery for a balanced flavor.
I also added a small can tomato paste to the pan to make sure I made a strong tomato base.
At first it came out a little too sweet so in the future I would have used half of the cherry tomatoes but I easily fixed the problem with some bay leaf and 2 splashed of white vinegar.
I added water and chicken bone broth to stabilize the soup and it came out amazing!
This made about 6-7 servings all together
Some of the seasoning I added
Light dash of red pepper flakes
Oregano and a tiny bit of tomato chicken broth flavoring
Do NOT add anymore salt or garlic to this recipe or it will be very overwhelming and will be difficult to fix.
Overall this is a good base and I'd make it again!
