Very tasty. Used equivalent of mixed frozen vegetables, cooked. Divided recipe in half. Made 3 individual portions and 1 portion to serve 3. I wanted finished product to look fancy for the 3 of us, and I only had 3 individual au gratin dishes. This recipe is best made ahead and then baked. Very tasty for St. Patrick's Day. Although I think my son was disappointed I didn't serve corned beef. BTW I used 1 1/2 pounds ground beef rather than 2. Did not miss the extra 1/2 pound. Using mixed vegetables was convenient but if I make again, I will do only a medley of peas and carrots. The mixture I used also had corn and green beans which isn't very authentic looking!
