So there were a couple things wrong in the recipe that I fixed. I took about half a cup of hot water with sugar to bloom the yeast, and then added that in after the butter/buttermilk mixture (I used sour cream instead of buttermilk for the cost), and then added an extra 1/2 cup of flour to balance out the extra liquid. Only bake them 15-20 min, 35 burnt half of mine. (I baked in two batches to try something different for flavoring.) Made much more than 6 but that might be just me.
