Like the other reviewer said, instructions are unclear. Seems like they want you to boil just the water and broth first. When I make this again, I will boil all the veggies in broth until they are soft. 5/10 min is not enough. Then use an immersion blender to make it smooth, then another 5-10. I would add more broth since it will cook down.
Felt like it was missing a little something. Probably some kind of fat or umami. I added salt, msg, and a dash of Golden Mountain sauce. Served with rice. Very interesting and unique recipe! I like it!
