I've added more onions, as well as more garlic. Added a little bit of chilli as well and flour before adding the broth to the mix. Took the liberty of seasoning it a little bit more, with the addition of rosemary and basil (I've used dried ones, but I'm sure the fresh one will result in an even more flavorful dish). I've also included a big sweet potato, which was just delish. Also, instead of using the whole quantity of balsamic vinegar mentioned in the recipe, try using a quarter of that and for the rest of the quantity use Worcestershire sauce.
