Delicious! I added about two drops of almond extract into the mix and used all lemon juice instead of lemon extract. When baking, I used parchment paper to be able to get it out of the pan easily. Before i pulled it out, i poked holes into the top with a fork and poured the simple syrup into the holes. I couldn't wait for it to cool so I cut myself a piece and poured the frosting on top of that piece.. spongy, zesty, and something that will be gone before the night ends
