Absolutely delicious. I did not add the colouring, I don't see the point really, plus I'm frequently able to taste food colouring, and I didn't want it in my cookies!
Otherwise: I ended up freezing for about half an hour, then refrigerating for a short while before cooking rather than the three hour chill.
This made twelve big, soft, cookies, which I sprinkled with a little turbinado sugar on top.
I highly recommend pressing the cookies flatter if you want a crispier result, my sheet took all twelve, but they did end up touching.
Verdict: better than the Zoë's Kitchen cookies I was trying for, family preferred these. I consider it a win!
