Don't be fooled, these aren't cruffins. I knew that going in, and expected more of a Cinnamon roll type of muffin. Sadly these aren't Cinnamon roll like either, they're just disappointing. No laminating to create layers, as you would with croissants and cruffins. Texture is chewy and unpleasant, almost like they were underbaked (they weren't). Impossible to cut each log in half evenly. Save yourself and make a proven cruffin recipe or sweet roll recipe.
