I'm undecided about this one. It took ages to make, and the end result tastes like chocolate pudding. It was fine, but I'm not sure if it was worth it. My custard did clump up when I put the pan back on the heat but I was able to whisk it smooth. So thumbs up: it worked and it's fine. It just doesn't have much oomph. Edit: I take it back, this is amazing. I discovered in another run that the flavor develops in the refrigerator, so go with the full overnight rest. It still looks like a cow pat, so decorate strategically, but after a full 24 hours of refrigeration, the flavor and texture are amazing!
