I’d fallen into buying those porridge sachets, but purchased some rolled oats with the intention of making my daughter a real porridge. I wasn’t so confident but everyone enjoyed it and I’ll be sticking to this recipe.
If you make it in the microwave I suggest using an oversized jug or bowl to avoid the milk boiling over and making a mess. Next time I will make it on the stove though because it’s probably is quicker and you can keep a closer eye on the texture
