These were fine I guess but I'm saying no on principal. Referencing "elote" should logically emphasize the importance of corn... yet the recipe doesn't bother to mention how much corn should be used. I used a few ears, far more than what the pics seem to indicate, and I still wouldn't call these elote-inspired. Misleading.
