Okay I’ve had some yummy jambalaya, but it always takes FOREVER to make. This was so insanely easy and still delicious. I was shocked. After reading the comments, I decided to cook 1 cup (uncooked) of rice on the stove using 1.5 cups of the sauce from the crock pot when I added the shrimp. I only partially cooked it, like for 7 minutes, and then added the rice to the crockpot after that. It soaked up the sauce perfectly without drying it and it was so good.
