Everyone enjoyed this dish. I cooked the steak bites in the sauce over medium heat almost to doneness , then emptied the pan, and returned just the meat to the pan on high to finish with a nice crisp. Will definitely make again but I think next time I will adjust to a little less bourbon or more sugar. The bourbon taste was a little strong for me.
I served with roasted squash and onions.
