If you dont have self rising flour, DON'T try this recipe. This is my second time using a mug cake recipe in hopes of finally getting it to work, i had regular white flour and i added baking powder to help the batter rise. I put it in the microwave for 1 minute and 45 seconds. Taking it out, it had a rubberish texture to it with a spongey look, having it come off the sides quite easy with a bit of raw batter on the top. I put it in the microwave again for 20 seconds to cook the raw part. The taste was very chewey and was hard to swallow. Verdict is if i had the right flour MAYBE it would have worked. I have done recipes where the flour was supposed to be plain and it didnt work either.
