The instructions for this do not quite match the ingredients. I used the whole spices I had, and substituted ground cinnamon, ground coriander, and added Garam Marsala too. And I didn’t have any mace. The instructions don’t tell you when to put the raisins in so I put them in at the end and left the rice covered on low while they plumped. I also added raw chopped cashews. I did this all in my insta pot, first using the sauté function and then the rice cooker function. It came out delicious but I needed to add more Garam Marsala at the end to give it that taste of sweet. I’ll add more cloves, cardamom, and star anise next y;
