Oats are usually harvested on the same equipment as wheat, so not good for Celiacs. That said, dedicated Gluten-Free Oats that use higher standards than the FDA minimums have been fine for both of my family members who are very sensitive Celiacs.

Yes, some oats do contain gluten. However, there are plenty gluten free oats that are safe for celiac! I recommend Quakers or Bob's Red Mill, both are great options and have been safe for my highly sensitive dad 😊

Oats are gluten free however like other mentioned are often processed and packaged with gluten contaminating foods. With that said there are brands, like One Degree Organic and Bobs Red Mill that have designated gluten free lines for their gluten free oats.
