It definitely takes longer than 6 minutes to cook the potatoes. According to their size and the way you choose to cut them will make a difference. But I cut my potatoes into 8 wedges each, 3 potatoes, and it honestly took almost 30 minutes to cook stove top, covered, with water added to lessen the burning of the potatoes. I also think next time I'm going to prep the steak with an overnight marinade.
