It is a little bland but you can switch up the flavour for yourself as you go. I added more garlic powder and some smoked paprika, plenty black pepper and some bacon lardons as I used pork mince. The cauliflower rice worked really well. I thought it would go mushy but it held its own. I didn’t put chicken stock in either as I was boiling black soya beans to go with it and wanted to add them in with the stock. However after soaking the beans all night and boiling them for two hours to no avail, I gave up on the beans and I think adding any liquid would have made this mushy.
So it’s a good concept and I will work on making the flavour work for me over a few more iterations. This is a nice hearty comfort food, giving to my husband for lunch as a reprieve from endless keto salads.
