This will be my go-to chocolate chip cookie recipe as well. Love no mixer needed or chilling. (Although 20 minutes to wait for butter to cool.) Note to self: Use black handled cookie scoop and level off. Perfect size! Use 60% cacao Ghirardelli chocolate chips and they make lovely puddles of chocolate that aren't too sweet! A sprinkling of flaky sea salt on top kicks it up a notch. Saving them warm is spectacular. September 2024

Note: they do not cool and get flat. They stay thick and soft.
