A very solid biryani recipe. The chicken is tender and flavourful, and the rice is well spiced!
I would say this is "restaurant quality" but will never compete with your absolute favorite biryani. It's one of those recipes that I'll make regularly and would impress friends, but doesn't fully overtake the need to go to a good local restaurant. Definitely better than a lot of "just okay" restaurants though. It's a great staple recipe to have biryani in your rotation!
I recommend watching the video she has with the recipe to get a feel for things like how intensely your water should be boiling, since many of the times rely on these things. I'd also pay attention to your heat source, as I overdid my chicken a bit and got slightly burned skin.
As a note, it will take a large quantity of spices, so even if you think you have all the spices in your pantry, it might be worth double checking the amounts.
