Very safe, simple, savory dish. I added broccoli because I had it. After all the veggies were in, I actually added about a half cup of chicken broth to help get the veggies cooked, and to make a thinner pesto that would cover everything. Ended up being nice, we spooned it over brown rice and topped with fresh basil to bring out the pesto flavors.
