in The Best Classic Chili Recipe

I didn't follow the recipe to the T so I can't say exactly how the recipe tastes. I can say it's a great base for adding your own spin on it. I used half the sugar the recipe called for because I'm personally not a fan of sweet in my chili. I replaced the white sugar with brown because I prefer that flavor. While I love spicy food I didn't add cayenne pepper because it's to spicy for my family members. Instead I used smoked paprika in place of the cayenne pepper. I added zucchini chunks which add a nice meatiness to the chili without changing the flavor. I did add more meat and beans because it was to watery and was more of a soup then a chili. I used 2lbs meat and 4 cans of beans. I do recommend using a good quality chili powder because my off brand one was very bland even though I doubled the amount.
