This makes 7 quartz of an amazing, very hearty soup. So yes, it makes leftovers. Tasty, creamy, with tender hunks of sausage meat and a very flavourful broth. I used hot Italian sausage, a couple of tablespoons of Club House Italiano seasoning, and whipping cream. Hubs and The Friend had two bowls each. Serve with a nice crusty bread.
