Made it my mission to make a huge batch of this when I got home, so I tripled this recipe. Is it expensive to buy that any pistachios and white chocolate? Yes. Would I do it again? Indubitably. SO worth it. This recipe freezes fine, makes a fantastic gift in a nice jar, tastes like a touristy roman holiday, it's everything. I even made a vegan batch for my vegan friends and it was the same, ridiculously moreish treat.
