These turned out perfect! I only used vanilla and no almond extract, and used salted butter so I didn't add any salt. Cook time at 12 minutes made them absolutely perfect. Not crunchy, not underdone, absolutely perfect for decorating. Definitely use a good non-stick cookie pan.
(A homemade icing with powdered sugar, vanilla, and milk works amazing on these)
