This was delicious! Instead of baking with cheese inserted, I pressed two small empty ramekins into the dough before baking. After baking 20 mins and cooling, I removed the ramekins and put room temp boursin cheese in the holes. Put it back in the oven, loosely covered with foil, for another 5 or 10 minutes to soften the boursin cheese. Drizzled with hot honey before serving. Spreadable brie with cranberry sauce is another good option.
