I swapped a few celery stalks for the fennel and forgot to add some fennel seeds to compensate, but it was still good. The fennel and maybe some more lemon juice would greatly improve the flavor. Right now it's good but a bit flat. Used a mix of thyme and rosemary, and a bunch of red chard for the greens. This might go into the regular rotation!
Update 2/10/25: made this with celery, fennel seed and frozen spinach (added after cooking the beans). Also added some lemon zest. Good!
