I tried the recipe as it was written, and I am not at all impressed. I played with the temperature to get it to that golden brown, but the panko breading seemed to be too much and over powered the onions. I added some extra seasoning and removed the panko all together and it still wasn't right. I will toy around with the recipe to get the flavor just right for my family.
