I used 1.5 pounds of pork bc I didn't feel like saving half a pound for later.
I used dried chilis and skipped the tomatoes and cucumbers. Everything else was the same and it's delicious!
I'm used to heavily smelling dishes so the fishy smell I think would be strong for most people who don't often cook with fish sauce or eat dishes with a lot of fish sauce.
I also have a bit of a sweet tooth, but can't handle too much sweets like more than two cookies or a few spoonfuls of ice cream these days. Idk if that's a helpful reference at all, but I say it bc I saw people say this is very sweet, but this seems to be just right.
I really wish I had cucumbers bc I think that definitely would've been a great way to balance the fishy smell and sweetness of the dish.
