Top is beautiful and crispy, but I’ve found the both times I’ve made it, the bottom stays soft and doesn’t get crispy at all. I’ve cooked directly on the bottom of the oven. Anyone else experience this? Tips?

I use a nonstick dark sheet pan, 2 tablespoons of oil on the bottom, rack in lower 1/3 of oven. Hope this helps!

Same !! I used copious amounts of olive oil on the bottom it really helps
