I added some onion (maybe 1/4c frozen chopped on)
Used 4 smallish garlic cloves. 2 bay leaves.
Added ~1-2tsp pickling spice (removed the cinnamon pieces in the spice I had) [great value pickling spice w/coriander,mustard seed, dill, bay leaves, cinn, red chili, allspice]
Added a couple shakes of garlic powder, onion powder, and a couple pinches of ground mustard.
Also added 1/4-1/2c extra vinegar to use up what I had.
