I just had a frozen bag of soup vegetable melody and threw that in with some cooked chicken breast and sausage. I added ginger instead of turmeric. I didn’t add the tomato purée, mushrooms, or lemon Simply because I didn’t have any. I used chicken bouillon instead of chicken stock.
I browned my rice, microwaved the frozen veggies, and just threw it all in with the recommended amount of water for my rice. I cooked it covered for 15 minutes then uncovered for 5.
This was a big fan favorite! Pairs nicely with churro beans.
