While probably good for a special occasion, I have to say this is not my favorite scalloped potato recipe. The flavor palette thyme, rosemary and nutmeg do give it a special autumnal or holiday flare. A nice change for potatoes if a new twist on potatoes is wanted as a side for a special meal.
