I agree with a past reviewer that stated that the recipe had too much cayenne and chili pepper.  I like a decent amount of kick but this amount overwhelmed the dish to the point where it is almost inedible.  I would use less of both of those spices and also use a portion of the spices right away when cooking the beef so the taste integrates better into the meat.  I will try again in the future with my changes to see how it goes.
