I doubled the recipe to make 12 servings, which was a LOT of work! But that gave us dinner plus 5 freezer meals. I feel like there was too much liquid, as the recipe took forever to thicken. I ended up having to add a bunch of flour at the end. Would recommend 4 cups instead of 6 cups of stock (for doubled recipe). I whipped the mashed potatoes so they weren't very fluffy. I will mash them next time. Taste is very good, easy to eat. We added green peas before serving.
Second time making a double batch: decrease to 3 cups of stock, as it still isn't thickening as expected. Add more seasoning, similar to what reviewer below said.
