I changed the instructions slightly and added other ingredients. Instead of boiling the milk, I boiled and added the salt, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Brought the water to a boil and added the quinoa. After the quinoa cooked, I added the milk (quinoa had no liquid at this point), chia seeds, banana, cocoa powder, blueberries, and raspberries. Along with Turbinado sugar and the chucked chocolate. By the time I took my first bite, it reminded me of chocolate fruity pebbles with fresh fruit. Love, love, love.
Side note: I warmed up 1/2 cup of milk before adding it. I followed all other directions and didn't sub anything else out.
