To make this safer for myself to eat - I am casein-intolerant and cannot have dairy, and also have IBS so avoid onions - I will sub a plant-butter and use a bunch of green onion stems for the onion (adding them at the same time as the chicken instead of earlier, since they don’t take as long to cook). I’m okay with garlic, but there’s also the option of using some garlic-infused olive oil instead, and subbing that for part of the butter as well.
