I took the other comments into consideration at the onset. I added Better Than Bullion Chicken flavor (2 hefty tbsp) and salt.
I also used about 2 1/2 cups of noodles as 4 oz is more like 1 serving.
My picky kids ate it! So I consider it a huge win. Tasty and hearty for a cold evening.
