No. The recipe doesn't. But I have worked in the food industry since I was a child, helping my great-grandmother make candy to sell. And food industry standards for sanitation is that you don't touch the food with your hands. However, my mother was, is, a licensed school teacher/ tutor, and she would do an activity for her kindergarten classes called "pudding painting." Each child had a sheet of parchment paper whereon was placed a third to a half cup of pudding. The children washed their hands and were set to finger painting with the pudding. Of course there was plenty of finger linking. My mother made delicious pudding.
Anyway, while I can relate to Lilija in licking off her fingers, yet with the difficulty of removing the dough, I suggested that she use a spoon next time. 🙂
