Excellent!!! I made the chicken in a pressure cooker instead of the slow cooker. I added all the same ingredients the slow cooker recipe called for, plus 1 cup of chicken broth — only because the pressure cooker needs more liquid. I cooked it at high pressure for 15 minutes.
When it was done, I removed the chicken to shred it and then sauteed (high) the cooking liquid in the pressure cooker to thicken it. Once thickened, I turned it off, mixed the shredded chicken back in and added a bit more BBQ sauce, though much less than the recipe called for since there was plenty already.
Everything else I followed exactly as instructed. I had plenty of chicken and space in my pan, so I added 8 more Hawaiian buns and a couple extra cheese slices to cover them all. Since I used a stoneware baking pan and added extra buns, I baked the sliders for an extra 5 to 8 minutes.
This was a HUGE hit at my house!
