I need a neutral thumb, not up or down. Made this today for a family get together. Followed the directions exactly. Was easy to make. My extremely mature granddaughter, who is 18, is an avid Mac and cheese lover. When I tasted it I thought it was just okay. After she'd eaten a few bites her verdict was the same. She said it needed seasoning, and she was right. I might try this one again and follow the suggestions of other reviewers by adding in garlic and onion powders and more smoked paprika. Might also switch out the gruyere for smoked gouda. The gruyere didn't have a lot of flavor. For those reviews saying not enough sauce, I would disagree. There was just the right amount of sauce.
