Surprisingly yummy! Crunchy top & flavorful. I did 1/3 of sugar as brown sugar & a little less total sugar since using canned peaches in light syrup. Also added more cinnamon, along with some nutmeg & allspice to taste. I did double the recipe & used a 13x9 pan since it was for a group. I used 3 cans of peaches & sprinkled some thawed frozen blueberries over them. Also added lemon zest to the fruit. Left liquid behind in bowl but that took out most of the almond flavor, maybe add slivered almonds on top. Really yummy reheated in toaster oven! Prob best served warm w ice cream but I made it day ahead & served it room temp at a gathering. Good!
