You absolutely need to season the chicken before putting in the slow cooker. I cut my chicken breasts into quarters and tossed with some olive oil, salt and pepper, crushed red pepper flake and minced onion. Also recommend reducing the amount of evaporated milk/ corn starch mix by about a third. Makes quite a bit of broth/ sauce on its own and I didn't want it to be too soupy. Served over rice, but would also be tasty over rice cauliflower or zoodles.
